Happy New Year!  As is often the case in any real estate market, things slow around the holidays, and into the winter, depending on the severity of the weather.  Having said that, as you'll see below, there was still good activity in the Brielle real estate market in December.  When compared to December 2022, there were fewer homes on the market in December 2023 (7) vs 19 in December 2022.  Also, this December, on average, homes were taking longer to sell - 99 days on the market, vs 21 days on the market in December 2022.  Our predictions, and those of others, suggest that the 2024 market will likely be more "normal" - more inventory, and hopefully lower interest rates, which should make for a more active market in all respects.

When properly priced and marketed, homes continue to sell quite readily.

Our market report showcases everything you need to know about local real estate trends.  All statistics are for the month just completed, per the MLS as of 1/10/24.

NOTE: If a ↑ or a ↓ accompanies a statistic, that is the direction of the trend from the previous month's number - up or down.
