Bay Head & Mantoloking Market Update - February 2024

As you can see below, January 2024 was a quiet month for the Bay Head and Mantoloking real estate market.  Comparing January 2023 to January 2024, we can see that 2023 was a bit busier - 7 active listings vs 6 now, and there was one closing and one under contract listing in each town in January of last year (none this year).  The largest contributing factor is still thought to be relatively high interest rates, though they are predicted to come down this Spring.  If and when that happens, inventory is likely to increase.  As we progress into February, there have been a couple of new listings, and some homes that were previously listed have come back on the market.  Our listing at 47 Mount Street, Bay Head, will be back on the market soon.  As always, please reach out with any questions that you may have about the market, rates, or anyting else.
